International choreographer, author and life coach Gerald Chirino will be presenting two workshops to assist in defining who you are and what you really want. The first workshop will present the basic ideas while the second will discuss the experiences of putting the information into action. Friday Fun Every First and Third Friday - Game Day fun. Join us in the community room for fun and games including Cash Flow 101, Chess, Yahtzee and Wii modules. Games will be available for the younger kids too. Every Second Friday – Movie Matinee. Every Fourth Friday – Family Craft Day. Yes the adults can participate too. Each month will be a different craft to make and take home. January – Recycled greeting card bookmarks, February – Heart shape box, March – Paper airplane origami, April – Mosaic bud vase, May – Dollar bill origami box, June – Clay name plate. Special Fifth Fridays – Music. The fun will continue with music on those months which have five Fridays.
Introduction to Jewelry and Beading meets in the Community Room of the Grace Mellman Community Library from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Each week we will explore a technique of jewelry or beading crafts. Participants are welcome to bring their own preferred material. Materials will be available for those who do not have their own.

The Grace Mellman Community Library Writers’ Group will meet the first and third Mondays at 5 p.m. at the Grace Mellman Library Community Room beginning Monday January 19th, 2012. Introduction to Genealogy with Donna Bradley This program is a monthly, in depth series focusing on different topics in genealogy presented by author, lecturer, historian and professional genealogist Donna Bradley. Author, Lecturer & Director of the California Chaparral Institute, Richard Halsey
Mr. Halsey is the founder and president of the California Chaparral Institute, a research and educational organization focusing on the ecology of California’s shrubland plant communities. He has given more than 300 presentations over the past five years concerning chaparral ecology, the dynamics of wildfire, and the importance of nature education. Mr. Halsey currently works with the San Diego Museum of Natural History, publishes The Chaparralian, a quarterly journal focusing on chaparral and wildfire issues, and continues to teach natural history throughout the state. He is currently working on the film Rights of Passage. Registration required Author and historian Donna Bradley celebrates our California past in this lively discussion of Native Americans and their ancestry in honor of National Native American Heritage Month. Donna Bradley has been a professional genealogist and noted lecture for over twenty years. She is the author of Native Americans of San Diego, CA, part of the Images of America series. Holiday Classics presented by the Temecula Valley Players
Enjoy a holiday classic favorite tale presented by the Temecula Valley Players of the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. This local theatrical group brings characters to life in a festive reading of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Light refreshments will be served. Registration required.
